We are officially 10 days away from Training Camp! I will head down to Georgia on January 15, and Training Camp will start that evening. Training Camp will last 2 weeks. We will fly out of Georgia towards the end of January. Our first location to serve in will be eSwatini, and we will finish in South Africa, being in each country for around 6 weeks each.
I keep being asked questions like: Are you ready? Are you excited? Are you nervous? … Yes to all of the above. I have a peace and a confidence in knowing that this is exactly where God wants me to be. There are also a lot of emotions that come with it. Doubt and anxiety have come my way many times, and I just have to go back to the moments where I knew that God was calling me to go on this trip. I believe He is faithful, and I believe He has already prepared the way before me. I just get to walk in the path that He has already prepared for me.
Psalm 139:6
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
If I asked for prayer for anything, it would be for the transition that I will be making over the next couple weeks…saying goodbye (for a few months) to the people I dearly love and meeting my new community who I will be spending the next few months with!
Thank you for the support that I have continued to receive. I am so grateful for each of you who have decided to join me on this journey.
Thinking of you right now and saying a prayer. Hope all is going well!
